Before using the ALPINE WHITE Sonic Toothbrush for the first time, it should be fully charged using the USB-C cable supplied. The battery life is up to three weeks. A rapidly flashing orange light indicates that the battery is almost empty.

Attaching the brush head

Place the brush head on the handpiece so that the bristles are facing forwards. Press the brush head firmly onto the metal shaft until it clicks into place. A small gap between the brush head and handpiece is normal and does not affect the function.

Brushing instructions

When using the Sonic Toothbrush for the first time, the vibrations may seem unusually strong. Start with the Sensitive mode to adjust slowly. Hold the brush with light pressure and let the sonic technology do the work. Moisten the bristles, apply toothpaste and position the brush at a 45-degree angle to the gum line.

Select mode and clean teeth

Briefly press the on/off button to select your desired cleaning mode: Sensitive, Clean or White. The corresponding LED lights up depending on the selected intensity. Keep your mouth slightly closed while brushing to avoid splashing and move the brush slowly along the gum line and over the teeth. Spend about 4-5 seconds per tooth to ensure thorough cleaning. The toothbrush switches off automatically after three minutes, but can be switched off manually at any time.

Cleaning the Sonic Toothbrush

Rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water after each use. To maintain hygienic standards, we recommend changing the brush head every three months. The handpiece can be cleaned with a damp cloth if necessary.

The first signs that it may be time for a new Sonic Toothbrush are:

• Diminishing battery power: If the battery is draining faster or the performance of the brush is diminishing, this may be an indication of wear and tear.
• Worn brush heads: Even if the toothbrush itself is durable, the brush heads should be replaced regularly, about every 3 months or when they show visible signs of wear.
• Mechanical problems: If the toothbrush makes unusual noises or the cleaning performance decreases significantly, this could indicate a defect.

The Sonic Toothbrush features various LED light indicators to show you the status of the toothbrush:

White light:

• The white light indicates that the toothbrush is in operation and that one of the cleaning modes (Sensitive, Clean, Strong) is active.

Green light:

• A green light signals that the Sonic Toothbrush is fully charged and ready for use.

Orange light:

• When the orange light flashes quickly, it means that the battery is almost empty and needs to be recharged soon.

Blue light:

• The blue light is displayed during charging and remains on until the charging is complete.

ALPINE WHITE's peroxide-free Whitening Strips permanently whiten your teeth and make discolourations disappear. The whitening of the teeth takes place as usual with bleaching through the discolouration of the tooth enamel. This happens through the so-called epoxidation of our active ingredient PAP, which refers to the process of active oxygen acting on colourants stored in it. This dissolves the coloured pigments from your teeth. The special thing about PAP in contrast to hydrogen peroxide is that epoxidation only affects the colour pigments, but not the tooth enamel. The enamel is neither attacked nor does it become thinner, weaker or negatively affected in any way. That is why ALPINE WHITE's whitening gel is painless, gentle on the teeth and yet effective and long-lasting. 

According to the Vita scale, teeth can be whitened up to two levels. According to our clinical study, after 7 applications the teeth become up to 7 levels brighter. However, you will see that your teeth are whiter after only one to three days.

The whitening effect lasts up to 18 months. This also depends on your lifestyle habits: The fewer pigment-containing foods and beverages such as coffee, tea, cola, red wine, curry or tobacco products you consume, the longer the effect will last.
