How can I book an appointment?
You can easily book your appointment online. Visit our website and choose between Dental Hygiene, Bleaching and Oral Health Checkup.
How can I pay for my treatment?
Our Studios are cashless. This means that you can only pay with a card, Twint or Apple Pay.
If I have a pre-existing condition, can I still come to the Studio?
If you have a pre-existing condition, it is best to come in for an Oral Health Checkup first, where we can scan your mouth and suggest your ideal treatment plan.
If you suspect periodontitis or another dental problem, X-rays can be taken at one of our partner dental practices. These will then be analysed by our specialist staff and dental hygiene can be carried out to suit your conditions. During our dental hygiene, we offer a thorough tongue cleaning as well as deep scaling, which also involves cleaning the gum pockets.
Depending on your previous illness, a written confirmation from your treating doctor may also be necessary.
Do you work with dentists?
We work purely preventively, so treatments are carried out exclusively by dental hygienists and dental professionals. If a dental problem is suspected, we will refer you to a dentist if you wish.
The dentist will be able to make a diagnosis based on our recorded findings and, if dental procedures are necessary, discuss the next steps with you.
Are your services recognised by the insurance company?
After your treatment, you will receive an insurance receipt for billing your health insurance company. It is best to clarify directly with your insurance company whether and to what extent your insurance company will cover the costs of the treatment.
Is bleaching possible for fillings, dental crowns or other dental restorations at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau?
Bleaching agents do not affect materials such as plastic or porcelain, which many dental restorations are made of. If you have such restorations in the visible area of your smile, bleaching can lead to uneven colour results, as your natural teeth will become lighter while the restorations remain unchanged.
If you have numerous defective fillings, tooth whitening could be problematic. Defective fillings could cause the whitening gel to penetrate into unwanted areas, which can lead to uneven results or damage.
Can bleaching be carried out at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau if I have periodontitis or other gum disease?
If you have periodontitis, an inflammation of the periodontium, professional teeth whitening is not recommended. The treatment could irritate the inflamed areas and aggravate the condition.
If you suffer from severe bleeding gums, this could indicate gum disease. In such cases, creating a gingival barrier to protect the gums during bleaching can be difficult. This increases the risk of gum irritation or damage from the bleaching gel.
Is bleaching at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau worthwhile if you already have light-coloured teeth?
Our bleaching aims to enhance the natural whiteness of your teeth. If you already have very light-coloured teeth, the whitening may be less pronounced. A Hollywood white with radiantly white teeth can only be achieved with invasive procedures such as veneers or crowns.
What other requirements are there for bleaching at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau?
For an optimal bleaching treatment, your last dental cleaning should not have taken place more than two months ago. We do not recommend bleaching in the following cases:
In case of many erosions on the front teeth due to acidic drinks or in case of vomiting addiction.
In the case of numerous initial lesions or advanced caries; consultation with a dentist is required here.
In the case of dead teeth; these must be whitened from the inside out.
What do you need to consider before and after treatment at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau?
Before bleaching:
Professional teeth cleaning maximises the whitening result. Tartar, plaque and biofilm are removed so that the whitening gel can work better. You can book teeth cleaning and whitening in one session with the Combo and Combo Pro packages.
Please do not consume any discolouring foods or drinks one hour before the whitening and fill out the health questionnaire to take your dental situation into account as best as possible.
Immediately after the treatment:
Avoid discolouring foods, drinks, mouthwashes and smoking for the next 24 hours.
Long-term result:
Pay attention to good dental care and oral hygiene. For the next 7 days, we recommend that you use our whitening strips, which you will receive free of charge with your treatment, for one hour a day. Our Whitening Toothpastes can also enhance the effect.
How does whitening work at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau?
During professional bleaching, the bleaching gel penetrates the tooth enamel, breaks up discoloured pigments and lightens the tooth structure. The gel is applied in 4 passes of 15 minutes each. No bleaching lamp is required and the process is painless thanks to our gentle formulation without peroxides.
There are extrinsic (caused by external influences) and intrinsic (affecting the inside of the tooth) discolourations. The dentin determines the tooth colour and, depending on the enamel structure, it can show through. If the dentin is darker, the desired result may be more difficult to achieve.
How strong is the whitening effect and how long does it last?
Based on our experience, people with a lighter initial colour or those who have recently whitened their teeth will achieve stronger results. If the initial colour is darker, yellow, brown or orange discolouration cannot be completely removed in one session. If necessary, plan a second treatment within 3 months.
The effect can last up to 18 months, depending on your lifestyle. You can refresh the result with whitening strips or whitening toothpaste. Our specialist staff will be happy to advise you on this.
What is the difference between ALPINE WHITE bleaching and other methods?
Traditional power bleaching in dental practices can cause side effects such as hypersensitivity or enamel erosion. ALPINE WHITE bleaching in the Studio, on the other hand, is painless as it does not use peroxides. Our method does not require light activation and is therefore more comfortable.
We currently do not offer trays and specialise in in-office bleaching. ALPINE WHITE offers various products for home bleaching. The choice between in-office and home bleaching depends on your individual needs and preferences.
What is dental hygiene at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau?
Dental hygiene is an important aspect of oral care that aims to maintain the health of teeth, gums and the entire oral cavity. At ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau, a dental hygiene treatment includes a thorough cleaning of the teeth to remove tartar and plaque. In addition, the gums are examined and treated to prevent gum disease.
Our professionals use specialised instruments such as AIRFLOW to remove both hard and soft plaque from the teeth. Treatment may also include polishing the teeth to remove surface stains and keep the gums healthy. In addition, dental hygiene includes a comprehensive examination of the mouth to detect early signs of tooth decay, gum disease or other oral problems.
Our dental hygienists also provide recommendations and guidance on proper oral hygiene at home to promote the long-term health of your mouth.
What are the requirements for dental hygiene at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau?
Prophylaxis is recommended for everyone and does not require any special prerequisites. The main purpose is to prevent dental and gum disease and improve general oral health. Discuss any health concerns, pregnancy or pre-existing conditions with our dental professionals before your appointment.
Veneers and dentures
If you have veneers or other dentures, professional teeth cleaning is not only possible but also highly recommended. It helps to maintain the longevity and aesthetics of your veneers and dentures. Cleaning is carried out with particular care to avoid damage or loosening. Our specialised staff are specially trained to ensure safe and effective cleaning.
Tooth jewellery
If you wear tooth jewellery, you can still have your teeth professionally cleaned. Inform the specialist staff before the session begins so that the tooth jewellery is not damaged during the cleaning and all areas can be thoroughly cleaned.
Previous illness
If you are unsure whether dental hygiene is suitable for you due to a pre-existing condition, it is advisable to book an oral health check in advance. Our specialist staff will thoroughly examine your oral cavity and make personalised recommendations. After booking your appointment, please complete the health questionnaire so that the team can proactively consider any risks.
When do I need a medical certificate for dental hygiene at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau?
A medical certificate is necessary to ensure that your dental hygiene can be carried out safely and effectively, taking into account your specific health conditions. It helps the dental hygiene team to minimise potential risks and tailor the treatment to your needs.
A medical certificate is required for dental hygiene at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau in the following cases:
- Bacterial endocarditis
- Congenital heart defects
- Surgically corrected heart and vascular diseases
- Coronary heart disease (angina pectoris, heart failure)
- Tuberculosis
- Chronic renal insufficiency, dialysis patients
- Kidney transplants
- diabetes
- Osteoporosis
- Severe liver disease
- Epilepsy
- Stroke
- Heart attack
- Immunosuppressed conditions (autoimmune diseases, organ transplants, joint prostheses, tumour diseases)
- Pregnancy
- Multi-medication intake/polymorbid condition
Complete the health questionnaire before your treatment. The studio staff will contact you if any of the above cases apply.
What is the dental hygiene procedure at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau and what should I look out for afterwards?
During your visit to the ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau, our experienced dental professionals will first check your oral health. This is followed by an individual oral hygiene programme. Microbial plaque on the tooth surface is removed and interdental spaces are cleaned using gentle AIRFLOW technology (powder jet device). We use the Piezon-no-pain method to remove tartar, so that even stubborn discolouration and gum inflammation don't stand a chance. Finally, your teeth are treated with a fluoride varnish to delay the formation of plaque and caries. If you would like your dental hygiene without ultrasound, just let us know before your appointment.
After your dental hygiene treatment, you should not consume any discolouring or acidic foods or drinks for 1 to 2 hours to preserve your radiant smile. Our specialist staff will advise you accordingly.
Make sure you clean your teeth regularly at home to prevent periodontal disease. Thorough brushing and the use of dental floss remove plaque and bacteria from the surfaces of the teeth and in the spaces between them, which contributes to the health of teeth and gums. Our add-ons are also an ideal complement to the treatment.
How long does a dental hygiene treatment at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau take?
A dental hygiene treatment at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau usually lasts 60 minutes. However, the exact duration may vary depending on individual factors such as the condition of your teeth and the presence of tartar or plaque. Our experienced team will customise each treatment to the specific needs and current state of your oral health to ensure you receive the best possible care. We recommend allowing enough time for your appointment so that we can ensure the most thorough cleaning and care without rushing.
Why is regular professional dental cleaning important?
Regular check-ups and prophylaxis are crucial to maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Without regular cleaning, bacteria can accumulate on the teeth and form plaque, which can lead to tooth decay. This plaque can attack the enamel and cause cavities in the teeth.
The bacteria in the plaque can also affect the gums and cause inflammation such as periodontitis. Untreated inflammation can lead to bleeding gums, receding gums and even tooth loss.
You can also alleviate bad breath with a professional dental cleaning. Bad breath is often caused by the bacterial decomposition of food debris in the oral cavity. Regular dental care, the use of dental floss and professional dental cleanings can remove food debris and bacteria and thus help to reduce bad breath. Cleaning the tongue can also help, as bacteria that cause bad breath also accumulate here. Book our tongue cleaning add-on for this.
How often should I go to the ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau for dental hygiene?
The frequency of dental hygiene depends on various factors. In general, it is recommended that you have your teeth professionally cleaned at least once a year to improve the appearance of your smile and prevent gum disease and tooth decay.
If you have an increased risk of dental problems or are particularly concerned about your oral health, it would make sense to consider having your teeth cleaned every 6 months. This is especially true if you are prone to tartar or gum problems. More frequent dental hygiene may also be advisable for older people and those with certain chronic conditions, such as diabetes.
Even with very good daily care, there are places in the mouth that are difficult to reach and should therefore be cleaned by a specialist. Regular oral health checks are also important to monitor overall oral health and identify problems early.
To summarise: At least once a year is generally recommended, but a six-monthly frequency can be beneficial for optimal oral health. Discuss this with a professional at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau to create a personalised plan for your dental hygiene.
Is it safe to have dental hygiene at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau during pregnancy?
Yes, it is safe, but certain timing and conditions should be considered. The ideal time for dental hygiene is in the 2nd trimester. However, dental hygiene treatment is best carried out before or after pregnancy. For treatment during pregnancy, you must provide us with a medical certificate.
Why is the 2nd trimester the best time for dental hygiene?
In the 2nd trimester, the foetus's organ development is complete and the growth phase in the 3rd trimester has not yet begun. This makes it the ideal time for dental hygiene treatment.
What if I have gestational diabetes?
If you have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, it is important that you first consult your doctor. An HbA1c value between 5.9 and 6.4 % is generally considered safe for a dental cleaning. Please bring a medical certificate and inform your dental hygienist about your pregnancy and medical conditions.
Are there any risks or side effects?
The risks are minimal if the treatment is carried out within the recommended period and all medical conditions, such as gestational diabetes, are taken into account.
Is dental hygiene painless at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau?
At ALPINE WHITE, we attach great importance to making your prophylaxis as pleasant and pain-free as possible. Ideally, professional teeth cleaning should not cause any pain. However, there are factors such as open tooth necks and inflammation that can be perceived as unpleasant during treatment.
If you have any particular concerns or sensitivities, please let your dental hygienist know in advance. We can then adapt the treatment accordingly and possibly take pain-relieving measures.
Our specialised dental hygienists are highly trained to provide you with effective treatment that is as pain-free as possible. Our aim is to improve your oral health profile while maximising your comfort.
What is the difference between teeth cleaning and dental hygiene at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau?
At ALPINE WHITE, we use the terms "professional teeth cleaning" and "dental hygiene" interchangeably. Both terms refer to the same comprehensive process, which not only includes thorough cleaning of the teeth to remove tartar, plaque and discolouration, but also includes preventive measures to maintain oral health. Our dental hygiene sessions offer a combination of professional cleaning and a thorough examination of the entire mouth. In addition to cleaning, our trained professionals will carry out an assessment of your overall oral health, give you personalised advice on optimal oral hygiene practices and, if necessary, develop specific care routines to prevent future problems. The aim is not only to ensure clean and healthy teeth, but also to promote your oral health in the long term.
How much does a professional teeth cleaning at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau cost?
A professional dental cleaning at ALPINE WHITE costs CHF 185, which includes a thorough cleaning using the latest instruments and techniques to achieve optimal results and keep your teeth healthy in the long term.
What does the Oral Health Check include and how much does it cost?
Our Oral Health Check includes a comprehensive review of your oral health, which is carried out using an advanced intraoral camera. This technology allows us to perform a thorough examination of the oral mucosa, gums and caries activity. During this 30-minute examination, we also develop a personalised care routine for you to optimally support your oral health.
If you combine dental hygiene with the Oral Health Check, we offer a special price of CHF 275. This 90-minute session allows for a comprehensive assessment and cleaning of your teeth and is highly recommended as it allows us to capture every detail of your oral health and react to problems at an early stage.
Why should I take advantage of the Oral Health Check?
The Oral Health Check is used for the early detection of oral health problems that may not yet have caused any symptoms. Statistically, 71% of people in Switzerland are affected by such problems, often without realising it. By using the intraoral camera and artificial intelligence, we can react to abnormalities at an early stage, which enables preventive treatment and thus prevents long-term damage.

Can I have my teeth whitened immediately after professional teeth cleaning at ALPINE WHITE Studio Aarau?
Yes, it is even advisable to have dental hygiene carried out before teeth whitening. At ALPINE WHITE, we offer you the combination package, which includes dental hygiene and subsequent bleaching. This combination package not only gives you optimum dental health, but also beautiful, whitened teeth.
The professional cleaning by ALPINE WHITE effectively removes plaque and tartar from your teeth, which are caused by deposits of food residue and bacteria. This thorough cleaning process optimally prepares your teeth for whitening by removing discolouration and superficial stains. By having professional dental hygiene carried out first, you ensure that the bleaching substances can work better on clean teeth and achieve the best possible result.
However, it is important to note that not all teeth may be suitable for bleaching. Read more about this on our bleaching page.
ALPINE WHITE also offers home bleaching products, which you can find in our shop. With these products you have the possibility to do the bleaching from the comfort of your own home after you have received professional dental hygiene.
What does the Oral Health Checkup procedure look like?
First, a visual inspection of your face is carried out, in which the jaw and neck area is palpated. Then your oral mucosa, tongue and throat are examined. By means of various measurements, we check the gums, and the jawbone and carry out a caries check. Finally, we take a look at the position of your teeth, because misalignments can promote caries and inflammation in the oral cavity.
However, no X-rays are taken because we work with innovative light technology. Caries can be detected without exposing you to radiation.
What should I look out for after the dental check-up?
Our dental staff will point out all the important aspects to you. However, don't forget to brush your teeth, interdental spaces and tongue regularly and to visit our Studio at least once a year for dental hygiene.
If there is a suspicion of caries, our specialists will provide you with the documents digitally and refer you to a dentist we trust if you wish. Good dental hygiene is also important for healthy teeth.
Why is a regular dental check-up important?
If you feel unsure about your dental health, you should come in for a check-up. We can check your oral health and help you accordingly. In dentistry, an annual dental check-up is recommended to prevent tooth damage and toothache. You should also make an appointment for a professional dental cleaning, which you can also have with us in Studio Aarau.
Our aim is to detect changes in the oral cavity, potential gum disease, periodontitis or signs of caries at an early stage. We will support you with advice to prevent this and maintain optimal oral hygiene so that you feel good every day.
What is the difference between an Oral Health Checkup in Studio Aarau and a dental treatment?
A visit to our Studio in the canton of Aargau will not remind you of a visit to a dentist in a dental clinic. All our studios are modern and stylish and you can easily book your appointment online.
What other treatments are offered at the ALPINE WHITE Studio?
You can also have a dental hygiene or bleaching treatment at our Studio. These treatments are available for everyone. It is important to know when bleaching that fillings, dentures and dental implants are not whitened, but only achieve their original tooth colour. Nevertheless, the treatment can be carried out if you have a dental crown or other implants.
At ALPINE WHITE we do not offer periodontics, orthodontics, implantology or oral surgery.
Do you work with dentists?
We work purely preventively, so all treatments are carried out exclusively by dental professionals. If there is any suspicion of a dental problem, we will refer you to a dental practice or orthodontist in Switzerland if you wish.
How much does a dental check-up cost at ALPINE WHITE in Studio Aarau?
The checkup costs CHF 95, which is always the same and does not include any complicated tax point values.
What is tooth jewellery?
Small gemstones that are attached to the surface of the teeth with special glue are considered tooth jewellery. With tooth jewellery, you can give your smile an extra sparkle. You can choose between 1 or more gemstones.
Tooth jewellery can also be placed on veneers, implants and fillings. However, it depends on the type of veneers or implantology and the tooth jewellery. It's best to get advice from our dental experts beforehand.
What is the treatment procedure for tooth jewellery and what do I have to look out for afterwards?
When you book your appointment, you can choose whether you would like to have the tooth jewellery applied during a single treatment or during professional teeth cleaning.
During the treatment, your tooth surface is cleaned with gentle AIRFLOW. Afterwards, the enamel is prepared with a special glue so that the jewellery will last for a long time and no stains will form. It is important to know that our adhesive is particularly tooth-friendly and long-lasting. This way you can keep your new, radiant smile healthy for a long time.
The gemstones you have chosen are then glued on with the tooth-friendly special adhesive and hardened with a light. The stones are applied without damaging the tooth structure. It takes about 15 minutes per tartar.
Soon your treatment will be over. Now enjoy your new, radiant smile with dental jewellery!
With dental jewellery, you can continue cleaning your teeth as usual. However, poor oral hygiene can lead to caries under the stone.
How long does the dental jewellery last and how do I remove it?
The durability of the tooth jewellery varies. It can fall off after 6 months or last for several years. In the worst-case scenario, the jewellery can be torn off if you bite the wrong way. However, at ALPINE WHITE we give you a guarantee if the jewellery falls off within the first 2 months.
If you no longer want the jewellery, it can simply be removed. You don't need to visit a dentist's office. Visit our Studio for a dental cleaning and our professional staff can easily remove the jewellery. Thanks to professional teeth cleaning, all adhesive residue is gently removed and the tooth surface becomes sparkling clean thanks to airflow and fluoridation.
Is tooth jewellery harmful to the teeth?
No, the tooth jewellery is not harmful to your teeth. In addition, the adhesive is tooth-friendly and ensures that the jewellery stays on your teeth for as long as possible. Our professionals are trained to apply the jewellery in such a way that it does not pose a risk to the surface of your teeth or gums.
Can I take my tooth jewellery to my dental hygienist?
Yes, even with dental jewellery you are welcome for dental hygiene at our ALPINE WHITE Studio. Because it is still important that you take care of your dental hygiene. However, professional dental cleaning does not clean the tooth underneath the jewellery.
With dental hygiene at our dental studio in Zurich Aarau, you can ensure optimal tooth preservation and protect yourself against caries. This way you will have white and healthy teeth.
Do you want to whiten your teeth with bleaching and are unsure whether this will work with dental jewellery?
Home bleaching or professional teeth whitening can be done even if you have a tartar. When whitening your teeth, however, make sure that you use our ALPINE WHITE products or visit our Studio in Aarau for in-office bleaching. This is because we work with a peroxide-free bleaching gel that not only whitens your teeth but also cares for them.
It is important to know that the tooth under the stone is not whitened.
How can I book an appointment and how much do the teeth whitening stones cost?
You can easily book your appointment online. Combine the dental jewellery appointment with dental hygiene. Dental hygiene costs CHF 50. Our ALPINE WHITE Studio in 5000 Aarau is located close to the Aarau train station. You benefit from fair prices with us in the first Studio in the Canton of Aargau and all other ALPINE WHITE Studios throughout Switzerland.
